TIPS & TRICKS

Whether you're a novice or a pro, it never hurts to prepare!

We don't anticipate anything too crazy on our tours, but here are some basics to get you started. You can rest assured knowing that our guides will provide in person tutorials and help throughout the tour if you need it.

How to prepare:

Kayaking is peaceful, but you'll inevitably get thirsty with all of that paddling on a two hour journey. It may be tempting, but don't drink the sea water!

Bring water   -

Wear

Sunscreen     -

Florida may be the sunshine state, but San Diego is one of the sunniest cities in the country! Make sure to protect your skin by applying sunscreen or wear clothing that protects from UVA and UVB rays.

Dress Appropriately -

Your legs and arms will typically get wet. We recommend bathing suits or quick-dry clothing as well as flip flops and hats. You may also want to leave a towel on the shore.

Electronics   -

Water and electronics aren't always best friends. Our guides will have a dry bag for your phones and other items that you may not want to leave unattended on the beach. Don't worry, we've got you covered.
